Definition: Single Elimination

A single elimination bracket is a tournament format where a team is eliminated after just one loss. All teams start in the same bracket, and the winner of each game advances while the loser is immediately out. This continues round by round until only one undefeated team remains, making it a faster and simpler format than double elimination.
