Fastpitch

A competitive style of softball where pitchers use a windmill motion to generate speed and spin. Fastpitch pitches are often thrown at 60–70+ mph. Fastpitch is played with nine defenders and requires a mix of strategy, quick reaction times, and athletic skill. It is the version seen in college softball and international competitions.
