Answer
Softball has been in and out of the Olympic Games. It was first added in 1996, removed after 2008, and then returned for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Unfortunately, it was not on the program for the Paris 2024 Games.
However, there is still hope for softball to return in future Olympics, since the sport continues to grow worldwide.
